At the Powell River Hospice Society we witness, hear about and participate in many heartwarming, heartbreaking, surprising and enlightening stories related to end of life in our community. We want to hear your life and death stories and we want others to hear them, too. We can learn from and inspire each other. If you have a comment or story to share, about how hospice or your doctor or a kind word from a stranger changed or helped you or a loved one on the death journey, let us know. If you learned or experienced something—big or little—that you want to share, share it here.
About Powell River Hospice & Hike for Hospice
This video is from Shaw TV, in advance of the 2015 Hike for Hospice event. Sandra Tonn and Sandy McCartie talk about the work that we do to assist the residents of the Powell River area, and Shaw also talks to a Hospice client who describes her experience.
